For a Sea with More Life and Less Plastics

BEACH CLEANUP ACTIVITIES

Belong to Sea launches an environmental awareness campaign with actions on beaches and sustainable fashion

In response to the growing concern about the state of our beaches and seas, Belong to Sea has launched a new environmental awareness campaign in collaboration with FECDAS (Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities). The campaign, titled “For a Sea with More Life and Less Plastics,” aims to address the problem of marine pollution and promote sustainable practices both in companies and in society in general.

As part of this initiative, Belong to Sea has organized a series of beach cleanup days that will take place from May until December 31, 2024. These days offer companies various options for their teams and employees to actively participate in cleanup activities. Available options include cleanups on foot, paddle surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. During these activities, participants will be accompanied by scientists who will teach them about marine biodiversity.

With “For a Sea with More Life and Less Plastics,” Belong to Sea and FECDAS aim not only to clean the beaches but also to foster a mindset of responsibility and continuous action for the protection of our oceans.

Join this initiative and contribute to creating a more sustainable future for our beaches and seas.

“A one-time cleanup does not address the problem nor foster the necessary awareness. Only by carrying out multiple cleanups can a mindset change be generated that positively impacts our environmental habits.
