Belong to Sea launches an environmental awareness campaign with beach actions and sustainable fashion
In response to the growing concern over the state of our beaches and seas, Belong to Sea has launched a new environmental awareness campaign in collaboration with FECDAS (Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities). The campaign, titled “For a Sea with More Life and Less Plastic,” aims to address the issue of marine pollution and promote sustainable practices both within companies and society at large.
As part of this initiative, Belong to Sea has organized a series of beach cleanup days that will take place from May to December 31, 2024. These cleanup events offer companies various ways for their teams and employees to actively participate in the activities. The available options include on-foot cleanups, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and scuba diving. During these activities, participants will be accompanied by scientists who will teach them about marine biodiversity.
With “For a Sea with More Life and Less Plastic,” Belong to Sea and FECDAS aim not only to clean the beaches but also to foster a mindset of responsibility and ongoing action to protect our oceans.
Join this initiative and contribute to creating a more sustainable future for our beaches and seas.
“A one-time cleanup doesn’t solve the problem or foster the necessary awareness. Only by conducting multiple cleanups can we bring about a change in mentality that positively impacts our environmental habits.”
